Empowering Change: VIPROM Training Experts Unite to Tackle Domestic Violence!
We’re excited to share that 20 training experts from 5 countries—Germany, Austria, Sweden, Greece, and Italy—came together in Münster, Germany for a transformative experience at the VIPROM Train-the-Trainer course on 3-4 September 2024.
Hosted by VIPROM coordinator Bettina Pfleiderer and the skilled trainers from the University of Münster’s medical faculty, participants delved deep into powerful didactic concepts and explored the groundbreaking VIPROM curriculum on domestic violence (DV). They also engaged in realistic simulations, working with actors portraying DV victims, and developed vital strategies for self-care. 💡🩺
Now, these trainers are heading back to their home countries, equipped and inspired to train the next generation of medical professionals. The ripple effect has begun, and the first VIPROM courses for medical stakeholders will kick off at the end of October!
